We decided to go with a Superhero theme, but minus a bunch of licensed stuff. I figure that superheroes have been around for ever, & I don't think they're going anywhere. :)
I'll be getting better pictures of the room when it's done, but wanted share now!
In the frames will be pictures of Isaac throughout the years dressed as superheroes. The cork boards above the changetable was just a place holder, & I now have art to be hung. & the drawing on the chalkboard was for fun & not serious! Lol

Projects...
I hate it when I have 30 projects going at once. I'm trying to get my projects out of the way so I can have more free time to organize more fun things for Isaac.
My sewing room is almost done, I just need to finish painting 1 wall, sewing a ruffle on the other curtain, mount the tv & hang up all the pictures. I really don't see this room getting done any time soon. Lol
Isaac's play space in the house has a half finished teepee. I'm afraid now that if I finish it off, he will think it's not suppose to be like that, & tear it down! I'd also love to sew some curtains for his space...
Then there's Isaac's bedroom....it should have been done months ago, but one wall above his changetable was bugging me. I still need to put some pictures in his frames & hang the art above the changetable. I'll do anther post of his big boy room!
Today I'm tackling the breakfast nook. It can be seen from every angle in the house. I found it was dark looking, & it needed to be lightened/brightened up. I was going to keep the tree I painted, but I hated the frames, & I really didn't want to buy all new frames, & try to pick out different pictures for them. I felt like Id have to have new pictures too. Ha!
I painted the wall, hung some wood plaques that I'll modge Podge picures on tomorrow. I then painted my table & chairs! I was scared! I'll be covering the chair seats up with a chevron duck cloth that I got at Hobby Lobby, & then I'll probably make a cute family rules sign for the wall too.
It feels like I went from dark to empty. Not exactly how I pictured it, but I'm sure I'll make it work

Life is Sew amazing!
Hi guys!
I'm in the middle of redesigning my blog, so please excuse the mess =)
I'll be blogging again! It will be a bunch of things in 1. Daily life with a toddler/preschooler, Weight loss, trying to conceive, DIY projects, & my new adventure...My sewing boutique!
Isaac will be 2.5 as of tomorrow, my older daughter has moved back home to Canada for college, my husband & I really would love to add to our family, & we've decided to go full throttle as soon as Isaac turns 3. In the mean time, I will be working on my fitness, & using this time to get ready for another little one.
So please stay tuned! I promise there will be lots of neat/crazy/ME things happening soon. Oh & giveaways =)
After I get settled down, I will be doing a giveaway for one of my Totes. I'll even let you choose the color scheme!
Here's a quick look at some of the neat things I've been working on. (I've been pattern testing for a few designers for Children's clothing as well. LOVE THEM!)

O-Hello!
It's been a while, eh?
We've been super busy chasing a toddler around! Plus I needed a blogging break. I found out I had postpartum anxiety all around the time that I was dealing with Isaac's sensory needs. Things are great now, & Isaac is getting SO big! He knows over 60 signs & 20 words. He started fully independent walking at 9 months & has been fast forward since then! He's 15 months old now, still nursing, but once he's done, we're hoping to get pregnant again. Well, I need to lose 50 lbs first.

What the Food?!!
Isaac turned 5 months old on Friday! He weighs in at 18lbs and is now 26"long
Oh! and guess who's sleeping through the night? ISAAC!!! yup, my restless boy has learned to sleep =) There are still a few nights where he will fuss a bit, but I think that's because we've started solids and he's a bit backed up.
He's been eating Organic Oatmeal since his 4 month Birthday and seriously started off as a pro! Now he's a Foodie. I bought The Baby Bullet when he was only 2 months old, and just started making him his fresh Organic foods. YUM!
Every morning he has his Oatmeal and every other day I add some Prunes to it. And for dinner he has a Veggie. He enjoys eating, and I'm afraid he doesn't know his limit yet! He makes a "UH" noise with his mouth wide open when he wants more. So adorable! It's funny the faces he makes with new foods, but after the 3rd bite he loves it!

Babylegs and Hospital stays
Hey everyone!
Isaac had his doctor appts on Tuesday, and they went well! For now, he won't need surgery! Turns out that instead of the bones overlapping like the radiologist thought, his are more opened on one side. We will be trying to correct this with sleep positioning and see how that goes. He also has a very small soft spot! Hoping this will work, and the "bowing" out parts fix itself.
The second appt was to the sleep doctor who thinks it's apnea. We already had a feeling about this, especially since it's common with reflux. Oh and the fact that we've seen him stop breathing alot while asleep, but it's really noticeable when he's nursing and sleeping. He ends up choking.
June 17th is when he goes into the hospital overnight for testing. July 7th is when we go back to discuss findings.
Time to jinx myself: We've had 2 great nights with minimal thrashing!
Now onto Babylegs!
They were suggested to me from a friend for Isaac's hospital stay. They will keep him warm in his hospital gown, hold cords and make his diaper more easy to access. Then I researched them and fell in LOVE!
They have ADORABLE patterns, they will save his knees when crawling, great for when we potty train AND (if they need another AND!) they exceed 50+ UPF wet or dry! Did I mention that I went ahead and ordered 8 pairs this week? I figure with summer here and how fast he's growing, that I won't buy pants this summer! Just use his summer onsies and shorts with the babylegs on those cooler days! (probably the only thing I've bought thus far that will grow with him!)
I also ordered him a new car seat and a pair of Babylegs to match it! obsessed? yesssssss
********We're attending a wedding in 3 weeks - here's his outfit! Daddy will also be sporting a bow tie and suspenders! ha!**********
